Gingertail (Ina Tech Ventures)

Gingertail is a recently launched online community for pet parents in India - currently in beta version. The platform in its current avatar brings together an online pet parenting magazine, social network for pet parents and business listing of pet stores and service providers - in essence taking care of all information and social networking needs of pet parents. The eventual goal is to have a thriving market place helping pet stores and other pet businesses connect with pet parents. Gingertail has also been envisaged as a social discovery platform which will enable parents to get recommendations on best products and services for their pets from other pet parents they are connected to via gingertail. Our mission is to make India a more pet friendly country and evangelize the cause of strays including promoting strays' adoption. Towards these ends, Gingertail is engaging with NGOs working in this area as well as AWBI, besides working towards creating awareness on rights of pet parents.
