Cash-on-Delivery and Home Deliveries is a growing industry in India. It is an integral part of physical retails outlets as well as online retailing. This facility makes it convenient for customers to shop from the comfort of their homes and pay for the purchases at the time of the delivery. At present, due to absence of any alternative, the customers have to pay in cash for all purchases to the delivery agent; which is not very convenient, as at times the delivery may take effect when there is a dearth of handy cash lying around. Thus, there is a gap in this entire retail and collection of payments chain of events that need to be addressed. With Simpel, a solution is provided to cover this lacuna. Simpel will allow the merchants to enable their customers to make payments by credit or debit cards, netbanking or other such sources directly to the delivery agents. Simpel enables card payments without the need of any payment device for offline payments.
